Une étude sur les femmes journalistes au Maghreb

Journalisme maghrébin au féminin”, l’étude analyse le statut et l’expérience professionnelle des femmes journalistes dans les cinq pays du Maghreb : Algérie, Libye, Mauritanie, Maroc et Tunisie.

Elle avait pour principal objet d’analyser l’évolution du statut et des conditions de travail des femmes journalistes dans un environnement médiatique en pleine mutation. Elle a cherché à identifier comment les femmes journalistes se perçoivent dans leur milieu professionnel, face à leurs collègues masculins. L’étude analyse également certaines situations de discrimination liée au sexe que subissent les femmes journalistes dans l’exercice de leur métier.

Réalisée avec le concours de femmes journalistes des cinq pays du Maghreb qui exercent depuis de longues années dans les médias (presse écrite et audiovisuel), ses résultats sont issus de 4 entretiens de groupe en Mauritanie, des réponses à 119 questionnaires auprès de journalistes marocaines, 19 questionnaires auprès de journalistes algériennes, 15 questionnaires auprès de journalistes libyennes et 116 questionnaires auprès de journalistes tunisiennes. Des entretiens de groupe ont également été réalisés en Algérie, en Libye, au Maroc et en Tunisie.
